From April 2024, Linz-based artist Karin Aricó will be exhibiting her latest oil paintings at the Alpineum Hinterstoder. In her works, she focuses on the moods conveyed by landscapes. She allows the atmosphere of the respective places to take effect on her and reproduces it subjectively in her paintings. The result is a kind of visual diary.

Karin Aricó lived in Sicily for many years and this love of the south is visible in her pictures. The selection of motifs shows a personal statement by the artist. They are an expression of the need to look behind things. The exhibition "Aus Fern und Nah" invites the viewer to look behind the superficial aesthetics of the oil paintings.

On Saturday, 18 May 2024, the artist will be on site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will personally guide visitors through the exhibition on request.
