On our doorstep lies a small paradise with a magnificent landscape and touring possibilities for all demands. Descents in powdery deep snow off the groomed slopes, fantastic slopes and a snow-covered winter landscape surrounded by a mountain panorama that is second to none.
This makes the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region one of the ski touring Eldorados par excellence. Especially the Tote Gebirge and Sengsengebirge mountains entice with touring possibilities from high winter to spring.
Beginners can familiarise themselves with the equipment in the Wurzeralm ski area. A separate ascent track offers piste tourers a view of the mighty Bosruck mountain ridge and the unique experience of "piste walking under a full moon".
Parking
Pyhrnpass: Please park at the former road maintenance depot at the Pyhrnpass (private car park approx. 100 spaces - subject to charges).
Parking at the approach to the Hintersteineralm is not permitted, illegally parked vehicles risk an anonymous fine of € 40 here!
