Wurzeralm Alpine Festival with Night of the Mountain Fires - a festival for the whole family

On Saturday 29 June 2024 the traditional alpine festival will take place on the Wurzeralm. Here customs are cultivated, laughter, singing, dancing and much more. Children (and adults) can enjoy themselves at numerous stations and experience exciting things. Numerous stalls sell or provide information - from handicrafts to regional specialities. At the fun stall rally from 11 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. - there are stamps to collect at both stalls - there are again nice prizes to be won.

A varied live musical programme from 12 to 10.30 p.m. provides the setting.

Night of the Mountain Fires as the Highlight of the Alpine Festival

Breathtaking and undoubtedly the centrepiece of the Almfest will once again be the traditional Night of the Mountain Fires. Members of the mountain rescue services of the Pyhrn-Priel region will light the "Peter and Paul fires" on the surrounding mountain peaks at 10 pm. Framed by lively music, this creates an atmosphere that is unlikely to be forgotten for a long time. The last descent of the funicular is at midnight, and there are also discounted prices on the day of the event.

There are reduced prices for the ascent and descent on the day of the event.
