The Teichl flows through the Teichlboden valley in countless twists and meanders. The little river originates as an outflow from the nearby Brunnsteinersee lake and flows across the Wurzeralm area towards the Teichlschwund to disappear into it. The impressive mountain landscape around the slopes of the Warscheneck invites you to hike and discover nature. The entire area is criss-crossed by hiking trails. Various tours - from family hikes across alpine pastures and valley floors to alpine summit tours - are possible here. Particularly recommended: the circular hiking trail "2 million years in 2 hours", which presents the formation and human utilisation of this natural area in an exciting way.
