Ramitscheder mill

The old farmer in the village Edlbach mill is still operated as an exhibition mill. On the trail you will feel transported back to a different time and the old mill doing its part to Ramitscheder. It was built in 1858 and is today one of the few functioning mittelschlächtigen mills in Upper Austria. In earlier times, there were five mills whose wheels were turning in Fraitgraben. Through extensive renovations, the mill could be preserved for posterity. Groups of visitors can experience with your own eyes, as before grain was ground into flour after registration. The road to the mill begins at the Hengstpass-country road between Windischgarsten and Rosenau and leads through the beautiful Fraitgraben stream upward.
