In a mailing, the International Ski Association FIS officially confirmed that, based on the snow control carried out for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, competitions for men in Hinterstoder can be given the green light. As planned, the races will take place from Friday February 28th to Sunday March 1st in the Pyhrn-Priel holiday resort.
FIS race director Hannes Trinkl and World Cup Hinterstoder race director Eveline Rohregger are a well-coordinated team together with the new World Cup slope chief Martin Gössweiner. The HIWU mountain railways have laid the ideal basis for the fine preparation of the race track with the great basic certification and basic preparation, which will take place in the coming days. Thanks to the perfect slope structure, the control was only a matter of form.
