Audi FIS Ski World Cup in the Pyhrn-Priel sports arena - after 2016 it will be time again in 2020:
Hinterstoder appears in the 2019/2020 World Cup calendar with a men's-Alpine combination on February 28, 2020, a men's Super-G on February 29, 2020 and a men's giant slalom on March 1, 2020. At the end of February 2020, thousands of fans and the ski stars of the men's World Cup scene are expected in Hinterstoder. The races in 2020 also represent an anniversary.
The Ski World Cup races in the Upper Austrian town of Hinterstoder will be held for the tenth time and after the great races in February 2016, it is already curious who will prevail on the spectacular World Cup track "Hannes Trinkl".
In addition to the ski races, Hinterstoder will once again become a huge party venue. Live music, World Cup Party, draw lottery draws and atmospheric award ceremonies will turn the Upper Austrian community into a ski folk festival.
The World Cup track "Hannes Trinkl" is one of the most difficult in the Alpine World Cup calendar. The Super G and new Alpine combination offer pure high speed. Maximum inclinations of up to 60 percent and height differences at the limit require the world's best ski racers full commitment and the highest concentration. Captivating, not only the races will present themselves - even off the piste will provide sufficient entertainment.
