Due to the intense rain and snowfall during the night from Thursday to Friday, the Alpine combination had to be canceled on Friday. All efforts by the 150 slope workers, who worked from 4:00 a.m. to prepare the slope for racing, were unfortunately in vain. Only thanks to the good cooperation of the Austrian Ski Association, under President Prof. Peter Schröcksnadel, who is willing to pay the additional costs and the good cooperation with the organizing committee, the USC Raiffeisen Hinterstoder and WSV Windischgarsten, the ORF, EBU, the HIWU Bergbahnen and the Holiday region Pyhrn-Priel, it was possible to postpone the original program, which now extends until Monday, March 2nd.

FIS race director Markus Waldner thanked the organizers and all those responsible for the fact that the move could be carried out in such a short time and without complications. Austria is a role model in the international Ski World Cup in this direction.
