OK Team Hinterstoder 2020 is used

The founding meeting of the Organizing Committee on Wednesday marked the official start of preparations for the two World Cup races in Hinterstoder in 2020.

During the weekend of the FIS calendar meeting there was a decisive program change for the hosting of the home World Cup races in Upper Austria. Instead of the originally intended giant slalom, after the Super-G on February 29, the day after, an Alpine combination will be driven in the new format for the first time.

Also on the new conditions, the team around OK boss Herwig Grabner has quickly adjusted, it changes in much of the preparation so little. The OC area managers for the upcoming races can look back on a great World Cup-proven experience, as it will be the 10th time in 2020 that races will be held in Hinterstoder. Through the close cooperation of the OC with the local communities, the Austrian and International Ski Federation, as well as the tourism associations, whose representatives were present at the OC meeting, nothing stands in the way of a successful preparation phase.
