November 29 from 2 pm and November 30 from 11 am in the town center

Christmas romance is guaranteed - the beautiful market square with its large Christmas tree, impressive Advent wreath and historic nativity scene exhibition will delight young and old alike.

View nativity scenes, listen to the atmospheric music program or simply enjoy a mug of mulled wine, chestnuts, pastries, spiral potatoes, game products or smoked fish amidst the festive and cheerful hustle and bustle on the market square - that's the Windischgarsten Advent market.

Handicrafts, wooden decorations, alpaca and clay products, as well as knitwear, wax articles and Christmas decorations round off the range of goods on sale.

On Friday, December 5, Windischgarsten becomes the stage for the historic Niglo parade (intangible UNESCO cultural heritage) from 5:30 pm on the Windischgarsten market square.
