An experience that cannot be missed on vacation is a visit to the model railway system and the newly established railway museum in Spital am Pyhrn. The 40 m² model railway system has been located in the parish premises in Spital am Pyhrn since 2014. On this facility you will not only discover digital trains, but also vehicles, buses and much more. The mountains of the Pyhrn-Priel region are fascinating as the background of this model railway world.
In the newly established railway museum you can look back on the history of the railway.

Accessibility / arrivalDrive to the center of Spital am Pyhrn. Turn at the Sparkasse and use the parking lot. You are directly in front of the monastery building, go past the museum and the monastery courtyard and then on the right is the entrance to the parish hall where the model railway is above.
