6th World Cup in Hinterstoder (2000)

While Christian Maier won the first Austrian men's victory in Hinterstoder, Hermann Maier crowned third overall World Cup winner.

An incredible ski event was the race at the turn of the millennium on the Bärenalm. 15,000 visitors caused a state of emergency. Exception even if the weather. Sun, rain, winter thunderstorms and storm gusts took turns entertaining and thus provided for a once again required OK team.

In the end everything worked out perfectly, although the may (i) services had clearly shown that the area on the Bärenalm had reached its capacity limit with 15,000 visitors.
