Over 500 years ago, the blacksmith's shop was the "court smithy" of the Spital monastery and for more than 150 years from 1808 it was a tool smith for carters, lumberjacks and farmers.

Make a "journey into the past" with your family! The Lindermayr-Schmiede was founded more than 600 years ago as a forge and toolmaker of the former Spital am Pyhrn Abbey. Today a blacksmith shows our visitors how many years ago workpieces were made of iron.
