The Kalkalpen National Park is the largest beech forest conservation area in the Alps and has been Austria's first and only UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017. Accompanied by national park rangers, you will discover the diversity of the mountain forests and experience wild animals in their original habitat.

In winter, nature lovers marvel at the tranquil beauty of the snow-covered forest wilderness, discover animal tracks in the snow with a little luck and enjoy the clear mountain air on leisurely winter or snowshoe hikes.
