The new music festival for classical music and more in Hinterstoder is entering its third round.
On the weekend of August 21-23, 2026, classical music at the highest level awaits us.

Klassik Pur in Hinterstoder - Gundula, Bettina, Alois & Friends

After the great success of the first two Klassik Pur festivals in Hinterstoder, the ambitious organizational trio Alois Mühlbacher, Gundula Leitner and Bettina Leitner-Pelster have once again put together an exquisite and appealing programme for 2026. The three internationally committed musicians will be setting musical highlights with friends over three days in the Hösshalle and in the parish church in Hinterstoder.

• FR August 21, 2026, 7:30 pm

Countertenor Alois Mühlbacher and the Ensemble Pallidor open the KLASSIK PUR weekend in the Hinterstoder parish church with the program "TIS NATURE'S VOICE" with works by HENRY PURCELL.

• SA August 22, 2026, 7:30 pm

The concert "Tradition in Transition" follows on Saturday in the Hösshalle Hinterstoder. Cellist Gundula Leitner performs works by Puccini, Verdi and Leitner together with her Agnes Quartet.

• SO August 23, 2026, 11:00 am

With the "Matinee on Sunday", the circle closes when the initiators of the festival now perform music by Beethoven, Schubert and M. Bartholdy together in the Hösshalle Hinterstoder. The renowned organist Bettina Leitner-Pelster will perform together with Gundula Leitner, Alois Mühlbacher and the mezzo-soprano Hannah Fheodoroff.
