The Hinterstoder panoramic toll road is counted among the most beautiful excursion roads in the region, with its magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.

The toll road is 9.5 km long and ends at the Hutterer Böden, from where one can enjoy wonderful hiking and the beauty of nature.

In winter, snow chains are mandatory on the entire panorama road.

Accessibility / arrival

On the A9 of the Pyhrnautobahn, take the Hinterstoder/St. exit. Take Pankraz and turn left. At the next opportunity, turn left towards Hinterstoder and follow the road. From the beginning of the local area, drive another 550 meters and turn left onto the Hinterstoder panoramic road.

  • Buses: if the toll booth is not staffed (12:00 PM - 07:00 AM), please call +43(0)664 9742616 in advance; the operator will come by, collect payment, and open the barriers - access for buses up to 18 m is possible
