Teichl and Dambach have the best water quality and salmonid apply internationally as the top class.
The scenic beauty of the pristine and picturesque gorge is incomparable. The approx. 15 km accessible for angling section of the river is managed by the Austrian Federal Forests AG according to ecological aspects and houses sometimes capitals brown trout, grayling and occasional rainbow trout.
Fishing only with barbless hooks in the period from 1 May to 15 September.
The Teichl and Dambach extend in Windischgarsten, Rosenau am Hengstpaß and Spital am Pyhrn.

Every angler who wants to practice fishing in Upper Austria must register with the Upper Austrian Fishing Association either via the Internet or using a form. The form is available from the license issuing office. € 25 is payable for registration; The registration remains valid for the respective calendar year.
The fishing in Upper Austria is to be exercised in accordance with the state law, changes and any restrictions are reserved to the managers of the individual bodies of water.
