Tradition, alpine delicacies and cosiness characterise this alpine hut

At the cosy alpine hut you can not only enjoy the magnificent view of the Windischgarsten valley, but also the traditional alpine snack, fresh doughnuts and typical alpine delicacies from the landlady. Many animals such as calves, sheep, goats and horses enliven the alpine pastures here at 1,000 metres above sea level. The hut is easily accessible for families who want to combine a trip to the Wurbauerkogel adventure mountain with a hut hike.

Overnight accommodation with a hearty alpine breakfast can be booked for a maximum of 10 people in carpenter-made rooms with beds, some with Swiss stone pine! Minimum number of people for overnight stays is 4.

Ideal for private celebrations! Groups and any desired dates outside the usual Almausschank should be announced in advance by telephone!

From the beginning of May to the end of October we are open Wednesday to Friday from 1 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11 a.m., as well as by appointment by telephone.
Monday and Tuesday closed.

From the mountain station at Wurbauerkogel you hike on a road towards Little Mountain / transmitter. After about 40 min. Svetlin reach the shrine where it goes right to Svetlinkapelle. There, over to the fork in the road. Now the forest road take right - after about 15 minutes. You have reached the hut. After a snack reichahltigen it goes on a forest towards Edlsbacherreith and Hansel Reith. Now it's not far to the Hanslalm (refreshments available). On a gravel road steadily downhill to get to the parking lot Zickerreith, from where you can take a taxi traveling back to Windischgarsten.
