Bike & hike to the highest fir tree in the national park

We cycle along the beautiful Hintergebirgs cycle path along the Großer Bach stream and through the tunnels of the former forest railroad to the Große Schlucht gorge. From there we walk up to the area of the former Annerlalm with impressive views. On our tour, we trace the history and transformation of the Hintergebirge. We look back to the time of lumberjacks and alpine farmers and marvel at the return of the wilderness in today's national park.

Technically easy cycle route, total approx. 24 km/150 m ascent
Hike approx. 6 km/250 m/2 hours pure walking time
Good physical condition required

Suitable for: Suitable for children aged 10 and over.

Prerequisites: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. Groups of 10 or more people, companies, schools or other organizations are requested to contact the respective visitor center.

Meeting point: Parking lot Anzenbach (No. 6), 4462 Reichraming
Time & duration: 09.00 to 16.00 hrs
Equipment: Bike, bike helmet and bike lock, hiking boots, snack and sufficient drinks, possibly swimwear
