Europe’s fastest cable car rapidly takes you up to 1.400 m above sea level. There, the CircularHikingTrail "2 millionen years in 2 hours" leads you around the largest high alpine moor of the Eastern Limestone Alps.
Walk along the theme path and enjoy the multitude of local flora on the way to the idyllic Brunnensteiner Lake. The Frauenkarbahn chair lift takes you to the high alpine circular hiking trail through fascinating alpine flora, situated at about 1.800 m above sea level. The Wurzeralm is starting point for easy and demanding mountain tours.
The 4.5-kilometer singletrack, which leads from the Wurzeralm mountain station through medium-difficult terrain to the base station of the funicular railway, makes the heart beat faster.

Frauenkar Chairlift Schedule:
June 13 to September 27, 2026, every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays in good weather

Private: From Windischgarsten on the B138 towards Liezen (Styria) before the Pyhrnpass, on the right-hand side, or via the A9 Pyhrn motorway to the Spital am Pyhrn exit - B138 towards Liezen.
Public: Take the ÖBB-Postbus (line 911) to the Wurzeralm cable car valley station stop.
