For the Bike & Hike project, special changeover stations have been set up where you can switch from cycling to hiking.
Leave your bike at the bike racks(please bring your own lock!), then you can set off on your hike. The overview board shows you the route and provides information on places to stop for refreshments and places of interest along the route.
You can charge your e-bike for free at some of the changing stations (bring your own charging cable!).
Use and parking is at your own risk.
Please note that cycling after the changing station is prohibited and will be penalised accordingly.
A bike & hike transition station is a specially marked point along a route where cyclists can safely leave their bike and continue on foot. These stations serve as a transition point between cycling and hiking and make it possible to undertake longer tours while enjoying the diversity of the landscape.
The transition stations are signposted as such, have an overview board for the hiking routes and a bike stand to park your bike (bring your own lock!). You can charge your e-bike free of charge at most of the changing stations (bring your own charger!).
The Bike & Hike changing stations are distributed along the signposted Bike & Hike routes in Pyhrn-Priel. The exact location is shown on the free Pyhrn-Priel hiking and cycling map.
By using the Bike & Hike changing stations, you can experience the beauty of the Pyhrn-Priel region even more intensively and contribute to the protection of nature at the same time.
You can charge your e-bike free of charge at some of the changing stations. Please bring your own charging cable.
Parking your bike at the changing stations is at your own risk and is free of charge.
You can charge your e-bike free of charge at the changing stations where there is a charging station (take your own charging cable).
Please note that cycling behind the signposted changing station with rest and parking facilities is prohibited and will be penalised accordingly.
Please respect the signposting and use the hiking trails on foot.
Parking bicycles in places not intended for this purpose can cause damage to nature and is also prohibited.
