In Hinterstoder on the Höss, there is a diverse range of offerings for hikers, climbers, mountain bikers, and paragliders. With the cable car, one can reach an altitude of 1,400 m in a short time.
With the Höss Express, you can continue to an altitude of 1,850 m, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dead Mountains. The circular hiking trails, the reservoirs, and the viewing platform "Dachsteinblick" are attractive excursion destinations.

Private: From Windischgarsten via Vorderstoder to Hinterstoder, town center A9 - exit Hinterstoder/St. Pancreas. From Kirchdorf on the B138 in the direction of Windischgarsten, Hinterstoder junction
Public: Take bus line 431, 432 or 434 to the Hinterstoder Hössbahn valley station.
