The approximately one-hour tour in the town center starts at the tourist office and leads through the church park with the parish church to the market square, to the former district court with an old prison cell, to the Hauenschild monument and then to the local history museum. On this “cultural hike” you will receive a lot of interesting information about the history, sights and economic development of Windischgarsten.

Drive from the federal highway 138 in Windischgarsten Nord or Mitte towards the center. Pass the bottleneck and after a good 100 meters turn right before the market square and directly afterwards you will find the Windischgarsten tourist office on the right.

By bus - lines 911, 430, 431, 434, 435 to the Windischgarsten Kirchenplatz stop
