UNESCO World Heritage Tour: To the Siebenbrünn

The Kalkalpen National Park is the most significant forest national park in the Alps. With its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is part of a Europe-wide project to protect the last remaining primeval beech forests. These ancient forests, with their diversity, are a treasure of nature. Here, primeval forest species like the Alpine longhorn beetle and the white-backed woodpecker find a home.

Suitable for: Suitable for children aged 10 and over.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.

Meeting Point:
  • will be announced upon registration


Opening hours:
  • 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • pure walking time approx. 2.5 hours
