In June, the Hengst Pass offers an extraordinary variety of magnificent orchids and other orchids. Rarely do so many species grow in such a small area. We will introduce you to this fascinating family of plants and their highly specialized way of life.

After the tour, you can stop for refreshments at one of the mountain huts on the Hengstpass.

Meeting point: Hengstpass parking lot near the Karlhütte, by the large wooden horse "Hengsti" (between Karlhütte and Puglalm)
