Hinterstoder 2020 again in the World Cup calendar
Ok boss Grabner and Skiclubobmann Hackl: "Planned are in the provisional World Cup calendar a men's Super G on 29.02.2020 and a men's giant slalom on 01.03.2020"
After the specifications in the technical committee meeting of the FIS and the now ÖSV president conference in the Pyhrn-Priel region we are pleased about an early sports and tourist Christmas present in the form of the confirmation of men's World Cup race in the winter of winter 2019/2020 in Hinterstoder.
In the provisional World Cup calendar 2019/2020 Hinterstoder appears with a men's Super-G on 29.02.2020 and a men's giant slalom on 01.03.2020. Thousands of fans and the ski stars of the men's world cup scene are expected again at the end of February 2020 in Hinterstoder. The races in 2020 are an anniversary at the same time, Ski World Cup races in the Upper Austrian municipality of Hinterstoder are held for the tenth time and after the great races in February 2016, it is already curious who will prevail on the spectacular "Hannes Trinkl World Cup track" ,
In addition to the ski races, Hinterstoder will once again become a huge party venue. Live music, World Cup Party, draw lottery draws and atmospheric award ceremonies will turn the Upper Austrian community into a ski folk festival.
As the new head of the organizing committee, the previous press chief of the World Cup race Herwig Grabner will take over the agendas of Gerold Hackl. "We would like to thank the Austrian Ski Association and the Landesskiverband Oberösterreich for the opportunity to return to the World Cup calendar in the winter of winter 2019/2020 and look forward to working with the partner institutions. Even if there are two more ski seasons between the World Cup winter 2019/2020, our first preparations are already underway. Once again, we would like to conjure up a first-class ski spectacle in the Pyhrn-Priel region and thank you in advance for the great support of this project by our partners ", Ok-Chef Grabner and ski club boss Hackl are looking forward to the return of the Ski World Cup to Stodertal.
Also pleased about this decision of the FIS and the ÖSV shows Tourism and Sportreferent Governor Stv. Dr. Michael Strugl: "Major sporting events such as the World Cup Ski Races are an absolute highlight, have a high advertising value for Sportland Upper Austria and an enormous economic importance for the region. They bring about a broad influx of national and international guests, whose consumption expenditures lead to important economic effects in the hotel and catering industry, gas stations, trade etc. This has already been demonstrated at the past races in Hinterstoder in 2016 and will certainly be the case again for the Men's Super-G and the Men's Giant Slalom in 2020, "emphasizes LH-Stv. Strugl.
