Ski Area Wurzeralm Spital am Pyhrn

The Wurzeralm is located against the breathtaking backdrop of the Warscheneck in the Pyhrn-Priel region in the south of Upper Austria and can be reached quickly and easily via the Pyhrn highway (A9).

Surrounded by a magnificent mountain panorama, the ski area offers its ski fans a wide range of excellent slopes and perfectly groomed pistes on 22 kilometers of pistes. Seven lifts, red and blue runs, two valley runs (one of which is snow-covered) and a Sunny Kids Park for the ski stars of tomorrow offer everything a skier's heart desires.

The fastest funicular in Europe takes you up to the Wurzeralm mountain station at around 1,400m above sea level in no time at all, from where you will find a skiing paradise for beginners, advanced skiers, snowboarders, carvers and deep-snow skiers. The highest point, the Frauenkar, lies at 1,870 meters and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding two-thousand-metre peaks and the valley. The many adventure slopes with wave track, snake track, speed track and a permanent race track with timekeeping round off the offer.
