The climbinggym of the Austrian Alpine Club Tourist Club Windischgarsten - A PLACE OF ENCOUNTER!
The climbinggym was opened in 2003 and has been used very frequently since then. Since the beginning of November, it has 39 new routes with difficulty levels 3 - 9-, a climbing area of 275 m² and a height of 13m.
The climbing hall is also equipped with wardrobes for men and women, toilets and showers.
The climbing hall can be used by anyone, whether AV member or not - and of course also by guests of our region - at their own risk. Before using the climbing hall for the first time, a registration form (which is available in the hall) must be completed and deposited.
Children and adolescents under the age of 18 are not allowed to climb independently.
The climbing hall regulations and the user regulations for the climbing wall must be strictly observed.

Accessibility / arrivalRossleithen motorway exit. After the warehouse, turn towards Windischgarsten Nord and drive along the road over the railway tracks for about 0.5 km. After the electronics store ETECH, turn left to the district nursing home, here you turn left again and follow the uphill road for about 300 meters. Then you will find the climbing hall of the Alpenverein on the right.
