As a team to the second highest mountain in the world
Climbing, bouldering and balancing on the rope! Fun & Action is part of the activity program for the International Museum Day in Upper Austria. A visit to the museum beforehand gives an insight into the experiences of one of the best extreme mountaineers in the world, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner. She was the first woman who successfully climbed up all 14 eight-thousanders without additional oxygen.
The climbing tower in front of the museum, modeled after the second highest mountain in the world, has been extended with a boulder wall and invites you to try out your individual climbing skills with or without climbing equipment. The sky is the limit in the "base camp" of Adventure Management. The aim is to overcome your own limits, to find trust in your climbing partner, and to promote stamina and concentration. All characteristics that are also necessary when climbing up an 8000er. The ride on the 130 m long Flying Kiwi rewards the previous efforts and inspires the end of the day.
