In this workshop we build a bow from simple materials. We then roam through the forest with this “personal friend made of wood” and learn to tame him. Tension the bow powerfully, send an arrow on its way, the good feeling when it has hit its target. All these experiences, and to do so with a self-made bow, increases the experience, makes it immediate. The concentration, the accuracy and the coordination of eyes and hands are the essence of traditional archery.

Outdoor courses bring the shooter closer to nature and often also to themselves. Concentration and calm, excitement and relaxation make archery what it is: a fascinating form to bring mind and body into harmony. The fascination and magic of bow making appeals equally to all ages. Archery is much more than just "archery" - it is rather a journey into the past of human history - and the history of the archery is lively, very lively!
