In 2017, UNESCO declared the protected beech forests in the Kalkalpen National Park (and in the wilderness area of Dürrnstein) the first natural heritage in Austria. Accompany a National Park Ranger to the World Heritage Forests and discover how diverse and full of life these natural, ancient beech forests are.
